Nemesis is the Greek goddess of vengeance and divine retribution. Operation Nemesis was the name of a covert operation that occurred during the 1920s to bring the masterminds of the Armenian Genocide to justice. The letterpress text is inspired by the English translation of the Armenian revolutionary folk song “Gini Lits / Գինի լից / Pour the Wine” which is dedicated to the assassination of Talat Pasha, the main architect of the genocide.
