Zine Binding Workshop

Sliding scale tiered pricing $15 – $45 (all materials included)

Come learn pamphlet stitching to bind your zines, booklets and other small publications. Please feel free to bring a project you are working on that you want to learn to bind with this technique. I will be providing printed zines to bind in the workshop. You will get a brief overview of different binding techniques, a demonstration, and time to practice binding with hands on support.

This is a two part fundraiser:
Ticket sales (minus the cost of materials) will go directly to support Haneen + her family in Gaza.
The finished bound zines that are provided in the workshop will be sold at an upcoming fundraising event. All sales will go to the Center for the Study + Preservation of Palestine Library.

This class is open to everyone.

Class time: TUESDAY  8/19  6:00 PM – 8:00 PM @ SWANA Rose Culture + Community Center 2942 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97212

Accessibility: All events at SWANA Rose are masks required. Wear KN-95 or better. We will have masks available. There are 3 large air purifiers in the main space. Please stay home if you’re not feeling well. SWANA Rose does not currently have an ADA accessible bathroom.
